After much consideration, the time has come for us to move onto the next chapter in our lives and we have therefore decided to put Stockpot on the market. We have spent 17 years building the business and this decision definitely hasn’t come easily.
Our business has withstood every disaster thrown at it (including COVID!) and always remains a strong, growing entity. The existing business model has afforded us an amazing lifestyle, and there is opportunity to expand into lunch and breakfast trade if desired. Domestic tourism is predicted to boom for the coming years and Stockpot is positioned to benefit from this forecasted growth.
We have made a significant investment over the last 12 months with new branding and signage, carpet, furniture, upholstery and more. All equipment, fittings and fixtures are well maintained, of the highest quality and serviced regularly.
The building includes reverse cycle air conditioning, evaporative cooling and a slow combustion wood heater. There is an office with staff toilet, shower and washroom, and a laundry with washer, dryer and shelving.
A 15 year lease is available with very reasonable rental rates.
This restaurant has proven its versatility over 17 years and has had a great amount of thought go into its year-round, long term viability.
The business would be sold as a going-concern, with a lengthy hand-over period and consultation provided if required.
